Toyota Hilux prices reduced: New prices, variants explained

Toyota Kirloskar Motor recently revised the prices of its Hilux pick-up truck. Offered in two variants – Standard and High, the Hilux standard variant price has been reduced by Rs 3.60 lakh, while the High variant prices have gone up by Rs 1.35 lakh. Toyota Hilux variant-wise pricing-

The 4X4 standard MT variant of the 2023 Toyota Hilux price is reduced by Rs 3.60 lakh, while the High MT and AT variants receive a price hike of Rs 1.35 lakh and Rs 1.10 lakh respectively. The 2023 Toyota Hilux prices now start from Rs 30.40 lakh – Rs 37.90 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
Toyota Hilux: Design and features
The Toyota Hilux measures 5,325mm in length, 1,855mm in width and 1,815mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 3,085mm, making it count among the biggest vehicles in the Indian market. In terms of design, the Hilux is equipped with LED headlamps, a hexagonal chrome grille, beefy plastic cladding over wheel arches and chrome inserts all over.

Moving on to the interior, the Toyota Hilux gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control and a six-speaker sound system. Safety suite consists of front and rear parking sensors, seven airbags, tyre angle monitor, hill assist control, vehicle stability control, ABS with EBD and more.
Toyota Hilux: Engine
Under the hood, the Toyota Hilux is propelled by a 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, churning out a peak power of 201 bhp and a max torque of 420 Nm in MT variants, and 500 Nm peak torque in AT variants. The engine comes mated with a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Moreover, the Toyota Hilux comes with a 4X4 drive system as standard, and front and rear electronic differential locks.
