Rachel Zegler and Hunter Schafer both looked like incredibly glamorous leading ladies while arriving to the New York City premiere of their upcoming film, Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes, on Wednesday.
As the costars reunited for a special screening of their highly-anticipated film, which hits theaters on November 17, the duo beamed with joy as they mingled and held hands as photographers snapped their picture on the red carpet.
For the occasion, Zegler, 22, who portrays Lucy Gray Baird in the prequel to the original Hunger Games trilogy, wore a strapless blue gown and black heels.
Meanwhile, Schafer, 24, put on a very leggy display in a thigh-skimming floral frock, which she paired with white pumps and her hair slicked back in a sleek updo. Â

The Euphoria star, who has modeled for brands like Prada, Dior, Gucci, as well as and helped boost trans representation in Hollywood, landed the role of Tigris Snow in the movie.Â
Also in attendance at the star-studded event was Peter Dinklage, who plays Casca Highbottom in the franchise’s latest installment, as well as and Kate Rachesky, who appeared in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.Â

‘Having a familiar face on any set, I think any young actor can attest, is the biggest form of comfort,’ she gushed to People on Monday of getting to spend time together at work on back-to-back projects.
She continued: ‘And also as [Rivera’s] girlfriend, his friend, and his coworker, it’s amazing to see the trajectory of his career, and to witness his rise to stardom. I love him so much’Â

Rivera, 28, called his girlfriend his ‘comfort’ on set and agreed that he felt ‘really lucky’ to get to pursue their dreams together.Â
‘It was a really great source of comfort for me to have her with me so far away from home. We were in a different country. We got to explore that country together. It was absolutely lovely. I feel very fortunate,’ he told the outlet.Â
They also provided support for each other during the film’s more taxing and emotional scenes.Â
‘We have debriefs at the end of the day and we talk about it,’ he noted. ‘It’s acting and she’s very good at it and she’s very professional and she’s a wonderful coworker. I think we were able to communicate when one of us was down. It was nice. We were good support for one another.’Â
While talking to People earlier this month, Zegler opened up about how she is a big fan of the franchise and recalled the first time she had watched The Hunger Games.
‘I went with my sister and my mom to the theater to see it,’ she recalled. ‘The woman next to my sister had never read the books or seen the film before, and when the mutts came out, she started screaming, ‘What’s gonna happen next?’
‘And it is ingrained in my memory forever,’ she said of the experience and movie. She then added in regards to the prequel that, ‘I hope people in our theaters do it as well.’
