Some isolated areas of the city saw traces of rain on Friday which were too low to be measured.
“We had trace of rain at Ayanagar. Even if there was some trace or drizzle in other parts like Dwarka, as seen on the radar, we didn’t get it in the observatories. Areas near Delhi, like south and west Haryana and north-east Rajasthan, saw light rain, which impacted weather in terms of cloudiness and comparatively cool daytime temperatures in Delhi,” said Kuldeep Srivastava, a scientist with the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
He pointed out that the humidity in the city was still low and isolated between 47% and 77%. “There are chances of light rain on March 20,” Srivastava said.
