Kyle Richards SLAMS rumors she's 'fabricating' her marriage issues with Mauricio Umansky for 'relevance and ratings'… as she calls speculation 'the dumbest thing I've ever heard'

Kyle Richards denied she’s making up her marriage drama for clout and clicks.

The Halloween actress, 54, slammed the speculation that her recent split with husband Mauricio Umansky is simply an attempt to keep her ‘relevant’ and the ratings up on her show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which she’s been a part of since its inception in 2010.

During Tuesday’s appearance on the podcast Bravo’s Hot Mic, Kyle told host and RHOBH producer Alex Baskin, ‘What human being would create a story like this… who would do that for ratings? Put their family through this. That is one of the dumbest things I’ve maybe ever heard in these 13 years.’

In July, Kyle and Mauricio — who share four children — announced their separation after 27 years of marriage.

‘I’m going to pretend that I’m separated and torture my children so that people tune in?’ Kyle continued on the podcast. ‘I mean, it’s just the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. And when people talk about, ‘oh, they do these things to be relevant’… I mean, I’m already on the show 13 years.’

She added: ‘I don’t care about being relevant to my friends and family. Yes, I’m on television, but I’m good. I’m not looking to be more relevant. I’m good. And I would never put my family through this ever for a dumb TV show, sorry… for a dumb f***ing TV show.’

Kyle also took aim at the rumors that the estranged duo have an ‘open marriage’ and that she’s only staying with Mauricio for his real estate mogul money.

‘I also hear a lot of things online like ‘well, Kyle and Maurice they have an open marriage’ and that ‘Kyle’s only with him for the money’… He had no money when I married him, you idiots!,’ Kyle insisted.

‘”Oh, she just stays there and puts up with all this so that she can keep spending his money”‘ Kyle continued. ‘First of all, it’s our money that he didn’t have before. But yeah, definitely not, I would not do any of that.’

Kyle’s clap back comes as the pair’s separation continues to raise eyebrows, as they are reportedly not seeking couples’ therapy to work it out.

The estranged duo – who have ‘yet to consult lawyers’ after their July split – are seeking individual therapy during the difficult period, but are not engaging in any form of ‘marriage counseling or couple’s therapy,’ according to TMZ

‘They just want space to explore individually,’ the outlet’s source added.

Although there’s no information on an official divorce, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars are reportedly keeping a reconciliation on the table.

No need to lie: She added: 'I don't care about being relevant to my friends and family. Yes, I'm on television, but I'm good. I'm not looking to be more relevant. I'm good. And I would never put my family through this ever for a dumb TV show, sorry... for a dumb f***ing TV show.'

‘Look, they may get back together, but they may not,’ the insider continued. ‘They just don’t know right now. They will decide at some point whether they stay married, but not now’.

If a divorce were to proceed, it could get messy, as it’s been reported that the couple have no prenup in place.

Although the duo might not be gearing up for a battle at this moment, Kyle, 54, recently referenced the split as a ‘divorce’ rather than a ‘separation’ during BravoCon just a few days ago.

‘I’ve gone through a lot this last year that does change you. Losing my best friend to suicide changed me. Going through my divorce, all that has made me stronger but it definitely changes you as a person. I feel good,’ she said at BravoCon according to TooFab

Moments later, Kyle was brought to tears while discussing the split, as the star had to pause for a moment to collect her thoughts and wipe her eyes.

‘We love each other very much and we are family no matter what happens,’ she said, according to the outlet. ‘We’re trying to figure it out. We know we love each other.

Her voice cracked and the crowd began to chant her name, as she continued: ‘I just want to say, a lot of people think, “What are you doing? Fix everything.” Obviously, that’s what I would want. This is not my idea of my fairy tale, clearly.’

When asked if there’s ‘any chance for reconciliation’ between her and Umansky, 53, the Halloween star said she’s taking it ‘a day at a time.’

‘I’m grateful that we get along so well and love each other very much and we’re putting our family first,’ Kyle said. ‘We’re still living together under the same roof and I’m proud of the way that we are navigating through this. I just take it a day at a time.’
