Mauricio Umanksy isn’t interested in seeing his dirty laundry aired on television.
The 53-year-old Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills fixture said Thursday during a podcast appearance that he’s skipping the latest season of the series to avoid seeing its depiction of his disintegration marriage to Kyle Richards.
He and the 54-year-old reality star announced that they were separating in July after 27 years of marriage, though they insisted at the time that there had been ‘no wrongdoing’ from either party.
During his appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Show, Mauricio said it was the show’s alleged attempts to ‘dramatizing’ the split that particularly made him want to give it a pass.
‘I know that they’re dramatizing everything,’ he said. ‘There’s a bunch of stuff that I don’t really want to see because it will just create more noise for me and more opinions.’
Too soon: Mauricio Umanksy, 53, said Thursday on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast that he’s not watching new RHOBH episodes to avoid seeing his separation from wife Kyle Richards ‘dramatized’
Taking a break: He and the Kyle, 54, announced that they were separating in July after 27 years of marriage; still from RHOBH
‘People that watch that show are all opinionated and they just don’t realize it. There are two humans on the other side of your opinion,’ he continued. ‘That’s really, really difficult.’
Mauricio also told hosts Lauryn Evarts Bosstick and Michael Bosstick that he wasn’t reading any news about him or his estranged wife for similar reasons.
He claimed that he didn’t ‘need to read the BS,’ as he was a first party to his separation and ongoing interactions with Kyle.
‘When I know what I’m doing with my marriage, I will let you guys all know. Until then, everybody can take a hike and f*** off,’ he added defiantly. ‘I always tell my wife. I’m like, “I know what happens to us.” I’m the one that went to bed. I’m the one that woke up.’
In addition to cutting out the distractions and mood-destroying RHOBH episodes, he said he had also been turning to meditation to clear his mind and ‘quiet’ the noise of the constant gossip.
Although he no longer cared to watch the series, the Agency founder shared his strategy for appearing on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills going forward.
He said he would ‘be in and out of the Housewives’ series going forward.
‘My wife is always right and then you know, I get out as fast as possible,’ he added.
Manipulated? ‘I know that they’re dramatizing everything,’ he said. ‘There’s a bunch of stuff that I don’t really want to see because it will just create more noise for me and more opinions’
He already knows the details: Mauricio also said he wasn’t reading any news about him or his estranged wife because he was a first party to their relationship
Although the show often catches its stars in their most confrontational and attention-seeking moments, he applauded it for helping to make the stars ‘really good friends.’
However, he acknowledged that filming could be ‘really hard’ and ‘really awkward,’ testing those newly created friendships.
Mauricio has claimed that he and Kyle — who share four children — have been working on repairing their marriage in the months since their July separation announcement.
However, they have avoided couples counseling, as they reportedly ‘want space to explore individually’ at the moment.
An insider previously told DailyMail.com exclusively that Mauricio has been ‘miserable’ amid his ongoing split.
‘He has a choice to stay in that misery or try to move away from it,’ they said, before noting that Mauricio blames RHOBH for much of his marital issues.
Meanwhile, his estranged wife has been rumored to be dating her friend, the country singer Morgan Wade.

Rumors: Kyle has dealt with rumors of a romance with country music star Morgan Wade, with whom she has lately been spending much of her free time
Kyle and the tattooed songstress have been seen spending time together numerous times since her split, and the two even starred together in Morgan’s Fall In Love With Me music video, which showed them having a passionate love affair.
However, Morgan claimed that the video was just poking fun at her and Kyle’s fans for trying to will a relationship into existence.
The rumors only strengthened on Wednesday, when Kyle and Morgan were seen out on a shopping spree in Beverly Hills after also spending the previous day together.
Notably, Kyle wore a black Givenchy hoodie which Morgan appeared to have worn the previous day, though it’s not clear who the item originally belonged to.
