Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were was pictured in their first major public appearance Wednesday since the release of ex-girlfriend Britney Spears‘ memoir The Woman in Me.
The 42-year-old singer-actor and 41-year-old actress presented a united front as they held hands at a Los Angeles film screening for his new project Trolls: Band Together.
The SexyBack singer and his spouse, who are parents to sons Silas, eight, and Phineas, three, matched in all-black ensembles on a drizzly evening in Southern California.Â
The 10-time Grammy winner wore a patterned black jacket over a black T-shirt with black slacks and black dress shoes. He wore a necklace and brown lens sunglasses with black rims for the weeknight excursion.Â
The 7th Heaven actress matched her spouse in a silk top with a black skirt with circular silver embellishments, rounding out the ensemble with dark pantyhose and black heels.

The Emmy-nominated actress wore her light brown locks parted and tied back with hoop earrings in what was her first public appearance since the release of Spears’ book, titled The Woman in Me. Â
Timberlake was pictured in Cabo San Lucas last month with Biel, 41, for a fall getaway amid the fallout of the book from Spears, 41, which was released October 24. He and his family had been pictured arriving there October 30.
Spears made headlines with her revelations about her relationship with the then-NSYNC lead singer, which spanned from 1999 to 2002.
She wrote in the memoir that she had an abortion after Timberlake had gotten her pregnant.
‘It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy, Spears said in the fast-selling book. ‘I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated.
‘But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.’
She continued, ‘If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father. To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.’

An insider told People that in spite of the details of their relationship going public, Timberlake is in ‘such a great place’ as he’s ‘happy at home with Jess and their kids and he’s focusing on new music.’
On Monday, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Timberlake and Biel have ‘been focusing on their relationship and family as always.’
The source added: ‘It has been somewhat upsetting to have past instances be brought back up into the public eye, but they are making sure to be there for each other and continuing to move forward.’
