F1 2023 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: Qualifying, race time in India and which OTT platform to watch on

The second round of the 2023 Formula 1 season comes at the 6.175 km long Jeddah Corniche Circuit for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. This is the third time that Saudi Arabia is hosting a F1 Grand Prix race, with Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen each having a win to their names. The Jeddah circuit is the ‘fastest street track’ on the Formula One calendar, with cars averaging around 250 km/h (160 mph).
Moreover, the track is the second longest on the Formula 1 calendar behind Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. It’s also the first Grand Prix of the season to be held at night under the lights. Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen would be aiming to continue their winning form after leading in both FP1 and FP2. The team registered an effortless 1-2 victory at the season opener two weeks ago.

Formula 1 has introduced its own OTT video platform called F1 TV. To catch all the action live in India, one would need to opt for the more premium F1 TV Pro subscription, which currently costs $29.99 for one year, or about Rs 2,473 in Indian currency. There’s also a monthly plan which is priced at $3.99 for the Pro plan. That said, an absolutely free weekly trial for the F1 TV Pro subscription is currently available on the official website.
With the first two practice sessions already concluded, here is the schedule for the remainder of the 2023 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix weekend as per Indian Standard Time (IST) –
March 18 (Saturday)
Practice 3 – 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Qualifying – 10:30 PM – 11:30 PM
March 19 (Sunday)
Main race – 10:30 PM onwards
