Sean Combs aka Diddy has settled a lawsuit brought by the singer Cassie just one day after she leveled explosive accusations at the hip-hop mogul of rape and several instances of physical abuse.
On Friday evening the pair both released statements announcing they had reached an agreement and resolved.
No specific details on the terms of the settlement were revealed.
‘I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,’ Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura, said in a statement.Â
‘I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.’
Meanwhile, in a statement, Combs said: ‘We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.’
