Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman stated on Saturday that the federal government has disbursed Rs 18,253 crore beneath the PM-KISAN (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi) scheme through the ongoing lockdown. Under the PM-KISAN scheme, every farmer receives as much as Rs 6,000 per 12 months as minimal earnings help and the scheme is completely funded by the central authorities.
