The 20 new models will likely include existing model refreshes as well. Audi says that it will continue to work on developing ICE technology until 2026. Thereafter, the company says that it will only produce electric vehicles (EVs). However, Audi will continue to sell ICE cars till 2033, that’s 10 years from now. The company’s plans also include development of a brand new internal-combustion platform in 2024 for the next-gen A4 and A6 luxury sedans – the last of their kind.

Audi Q6 e-tron launch soon
Out of the 10 new EVs by 2025, the first one will be the Audi Q6 e-tron, expected to debut soon. The Q6 e-tron will be positioned between the Q4 e-tron and Q8 e-tron electric SUVs, and will be available in both SUV and Sportback variants. That said, the upcoming Q6 e-tron will be the first car to built on the new platform called Premium Platform Electric (PPE).
As of now, Audi is putting the production-oriented Q6 e-tron prototype through its paces in the far north of Europe under strict safety regulations. The company has revealed that the electric SUV will be equipped with a 800-volt electrical system, which could technically halve the time required to charge its battery as compared to the 400-volt system that is currently employed by majority carmakers.
That said, more details about the Q6 e-tron are expected to be revealed in the coming months, with a launch expected by the end of this year or in early 2024. Audi also said that it plans to have one all-electric product in each segment it operates in by the year 2027.
